A truck struck the Florida East Coast Railway's Crane Creek bridge

A truck struck the Florida East Coast Railway's Crane Creek bridge in Melbourne on the morning of June 2, taking the bridge out of service for most of the day as the damage was surveyed and temporary repairs were made. Temporary supports have been laid on Melbourne Ave to provide additional support for the segment until a more permanent repair can be made. This train 202 was the second train to cross the temporary repairs just before sunset. Brightline is currently in the process of building a new bridge to replace the old bridge at this location, as seen by the bright blue beams.
