Norfolk Southern local H16

Norfolk Southern local H16 arrives in Sayre, Pennsylvania with a long train of salt and sand cars, passing by the former Lehigh Valley station. The job will pull down past the station, then shove cars north for interchange to the Ithaca Central, then pull down into Athens to interchange with the Lehigh Railway. On this day, the NS crew did a live interchange with the LRWY in the small yard at Athens, picking up 220 sand empties that would be taken to Gang Mills and become a future 69N unit train with the trailing CP and KSCM power.
