A four unit set of engines has returned from Summit and heads into the helper spur. The signal bridge was lost during the flood of 1983. The grade levels out at the Bena helper track. The grade up to the curving cut just south of the crossover at Sandcut is 1.3 percent. The grade from here to east end of Ilmon siding is generally less than 1 percent.
