Southern Pacific train WCKCM passes train BAAVT at Gila Bend, AZ

 

Train WCKCM with engines 8378, 7857, 7765, and 9049 roars through Gila Bend trying to build up momentum for the climb up to Estrella. The crew of train BAAVT has died on the law and is waiting for a dog catch crew to come out from Tucson. The BAAVT had engines 8363, 7545, 8307, 5017, and 6312.
