The machine enables the completion of both ballast cleaning and tamping in a single pass, without the requirement to remove the turnout.
Set-up times are short, and the excavating unit can be installed and removed quickly, eliminating the need for full track closures.
When work is complete, the line can immediately be reopened to traffic.
