I met Kathleen Houlihan at the B&O tower in Hancock, West Virginia. She had been in business in Washington, DC but wanted to get away from the hectic life and out into the country. Here she is handing up train orders to Extra 3732 West at Hancock, WV on October 18. 1974.
A short time later, extra 3740 East picks up orders giving the train authority to run against the current of traffic to the next tower at Cherry Run. At the end of 1960, B&O had Servo hotbox detectors at Hancock, WV and Heath, OH and a GE hotbox detector at Paterson Creek, WV. Hancock Tower was closed in September 2007
