The South Prescott Spur is all that"s left of the original Bytown and Prescott Railway that was built in 1854. CP F52 with engines 2285 and 3048 are seen heading down the spur to the fertilizer mill a few miles south to drop off some hoppers and pick up 8 potash cars and 1 other hopper. This is normally a 1 locomotive job and they will run it long hood forward back to Smiths Falls.
