Die tiefstehende Sonne bringt im Winterhalbjahr manchmal das Problem, dass das Motiv in den Übergang von Sonnenlicht auf Schatten kommt. Belichtungstechnisch ist das gar nicht so einfach, aber interessant sehen die Bilder dennoch aus, wie hier bei einem Dampfzug in der Ausfahrt aus dem Bahnhof Schmalzgrube in Richtung Jöhstadt vor etwas mehr als 20 Jahren.
Auch mit dem Schnee hat es Licht- und Schattenseiten. Gerade jetzt haben wir wieder eine gute Schneedecke, doch als wir unsere Winterdampftage hatten, fehlte das weiße Zeug.

The low level of the sun sometimes brings in the winter months some problems that the subject is in the transition zone from sunlight to shadows. Exposure technically, it"s not easy to capture, but it is interesting to see the images of this kind, as here with a steam train in the exit area from the Schmalzgrube station towards Joehstadt station a little over 20 years ago.
Even with the snow, it has light and shadow sides. Right now we have again a good snow cover around, but when we had our winter steam operation days, missing the white stuff.
